Roy­al Bank of Cana­da (RBC) has for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year been named the Caribbean’s Best Pri­vate Bank by Glob­al Fi­nance Mag­a­zine.

RBC al­so cap­tured lo­cal Best Pri­vate Bank awards in both the Ba­hamas and Bar­ba­dos mar­kets.

Glob­al Fi­nance reg­u­lar­ly se­lects the top per­form­ers among banks and oth­er fi­nan­cial ser­vices providers.

These awards have be­come a trust­ed stan­dard of ex­cel­lence for the glob­al fi­nan­cial com­mu­ni­ty, the bank said in a state­ment.

“This win ex­em­pli­fies the pow­er of a col­lab­o­ra­tive, in­no­v­a­tive, and client-fo­cused ap­proach to de­liv­er­ing dif­fer­en­ti­at­ed so­lu­tions that go be­yond tra­di­tion­al bank­ing for our pri­vate bank­ing clien­tèle,” Dwight­Bur­rows, Re­gion­al vice-pres­i­dent, Pri­vate Bank­ing, Caribbean said.

He added that the bank’s pri­vate bank­ing team strives to lever­age the skills and ex­per­tise that come from be­ing part of one of the world’s largest and strongest fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions.

The Glob­al Fi­nance ed­i­to­r­i­al re­view board se­lect­ed this year’s win­ners based on in­put from in­dus­try an­a­lysts, cor­po­rate ex­ec­u­tives, and tech­nol­o­gy ex­perts who val­i­dat­ed RBC’s trade ex­per­tise and ex­cep­tion­al ser­vice in this space.
