For the week, some 1,833,464 shares trad­ed on the First Tier Mar­ket, an in­crease of 106.62 per cent on last week’s to­tal of 887,370 shares cross­ing the floor.

The val­ue of the shares trad­ed was up 144.38 per cent to $14,415,056.14 from the pre­vi­ous week’s val­ue of $5,898,547.72.

Massy Hold­ings (MASSY) was the vol­ume leader for the week with 63.40 per cent of the mar­ket ac­tiv­i­ty or 1,162,438 shares trad­ed, fol­lowed by Trinidad and To­ba­go NGL (NGL) with 11.05 per cent of the mar­ket ac­tiv­i­ty or 202,603 shares trad­ed. In third place was JMMB Group Ltd (JMM­BGL) with 8.76 per cent or 160,687 shares trad­ed. These shares ac­count­ed for 83.22 per cent of the shares trad­ed for the week.

For the week there were eight shares ad­vanc­ing and 11 shares de­clin­ing, while one share was at its 52-week high, and one share was at its 52-week low.

The In­dices end­ed the week in mixed ter­ri­to­ry.

• ↓The Com­pos­ite In­dex de­creased by 0.84 per cent or 8.80 points to close at 1,035.92.

• ↓The All Trinidad and To­ba­go In­dex end­ed at 1,511.10, down 1.18 per cent or 18 points.

• ↓The Cross List­ed In­dex closed at 73.83, an in­crease of 0.22 per cent or 0.16 points.

• ↓The Small and Medi­um En­ter­prise In­dex closed at 91.85, un­changed from last week.

The ma­jor ad­vance for the week was One Caribbean Me­dia (OCM) up 14.94 per cent or $0.39 to close at $3. In sec­ond place was JMM­BGL with an in­crease of 10 per cent or $0.11 to close at $1.21. In third place was Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd (TCL) up 6.44 per cent or $0.13 to close at $2.15.

Sco­tia­bank Trinidad & To­ba­go (SBTT) was the ma­jor de­cline for the week, down 5.52 per cent or $2.92 to close at $50. ANSA McAL (AM­CL) fol­lowed with a de­crease of 3.75 per cent to close at $48, its 52-week low. In third place was West In­di­an To­bac­co Com­pa­ny (WCO) down 3.70 per cent or $0.20 to close at $5.21.

There was no ac­tiv­i­ty on the Sec­ond Tier Mar­ket.

On the TTD Mu­tu­al Fund Mar­ket, 47 Ca­lyp­so Macro In­dex Fund (CA­LYP) units trad­ed for the week with a val­ue of $1,164.75. CA­LYP’s unit price closed at $24.95 un­changed from the pre­vi­ous week.

On the Small and Medi­um En­ter­prise Mar­ket, no Cin­e­maOne (CINE1) shares trad­ed for the week. Twen­ty-two Er­ic So­lis Mar­ket­ing (SO­LIS) shares trad­ed with a val­ue of $92.40 and 166 En­deav­our Hold­ings Ltd (EHL) shares trad­ed for the week with a val­ue of $2,988. SO­LIS’s share price closed at $4, CINE1’s share price closed at $5.50 and EHL share price closed at $18 all un­changed from the pre­vi­ous week.

On the USD Eq­ui­ty Mar­ket, no MPC Caribbean Clean En­er­gy (MPC­CEL) shares trad­ed for the week. MPC­CEL shares closed the week at US$0.98, un­changed from the pre­vi­ous week.
