After making further checks, police found Williams with a wound to his head in the front passenger seat of a brown Kia Cerato which was parked along Prosperity Lane facing west. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The four victims were carried to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital in a vehicle driven by Sherwin Williams, a family member, and escorted to by Corporal St Bernard.
Colder reported that around 1.30 am, whilst proceeding east along Pitman Lane in a vehicle, they were ambushed by men armed with firearms who fired shots in their direction and escaped.
