An area of low pressure east of the Lesser Antilles, which has been producing disorganised showers and thunderstorms, is not expected to develop into a serious system.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) notes in its most recent update:
“Forecast conditions are still not expected to support development as the system moves westward towards the Lesser Antilles over the next couple of days. Current analysis continues to indicate a low chance (10%) of development over the next two to seven days.”
The Met Service’s forecasters say they will continue to monitor the weather activity in that low pressure area, and indicated there won’t be further updates “unless there is a significant change in its organization or forecast.”
The Met Service also advises that at present:
“There are no watches or warnings in effect for Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada and its dependencies.”
