Scores of peo­ple, in­clud­ing rel­a­tives, friends and col­leagues of Jay­den Reyes are cur­rent­ly gath­ered at the St Mar­tin's De Por­res Church in Gon­za­les, Bel­mont to bid him farewell.

Among them is his in­jured broth­er Jas­sani Reyes who had to be con­soled by fam­i­ly as the fu­ner­al ser­vice went on.

Jay­den, 21, was one of four peo­ple who were killed fol­low­ing a mass shoot­ing at Lange St, Gon­za­les last Sun­day.

The for­mer St Mary's Col­lege grad­u­ate had just fin­ished play­ing a neigh­bour­hood foot­ball match when the in­ci­dent oc­curred.

Jas­sani was shot in the face at the POS­GH by gun­men as he at­tempt­ed to as­sist his broth­er.

Dur­ing the ser­vice, Jas­sani had to be calmed by his fa­ther and cra­dled by oth­er rel­a­tives as he wailed for his broth­er.
