Scores of people, including relatives, friends and colleagues of Jayden Reyes are currently gathered at the St Martin's De Porres Church in Gonzales, Belmont to bid him farewell.
Among them is his injured brother Jassani Reyes who had to be consoled by family as the funeral service went on.
Jayden, 21, was one of four people who were killed following a mass shooting at Lange St, Gonzales last Sunday.
The former St Mary's College graduate had just finished playing a neighbourhood football match when the incident occurred.
Jassani was shot in the face at the POSGH by gunmen as he attempted to assist his brother.
During the service, Jassani had to be calmed by his father and cradled by other relatives as he wailed for his brother.
