Minister of the People, Social Development and Family Services, Vandana Mohit, reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring that no citizen is left behind. She said the Ministry continues to engage with communities daily, identifying needs and responding, “with purpose, compassion, and urgency.”
Minister Mohit added that the NSDP, in collaboration with local stakeholders, focuses on supporting the most vulnerable through reforms, expanded outreach, and preventive measures to reduce long-term vulnerability.
“This is about creating sustainable pathways for families, ensuring that support today leads to greater stability and independence tomorrow,” she said.
The Ministry said it continues to prioritise social protection programmes designed to ease immediate hardship while fostering long-term resilience, stability, and empowerment for citizens across Trinidad and Tobago.
