Sascha Wil­son

A 22-year-old dri­ver was killed ear­ly this morn­ing when his pick­up slammed in­to a tree along the north­bound lane of the Uri­ah But­ler High­way near Ch­agua­nas.

San­jay Ram­cha­ran of Or­ange­field, Cara­pichaima, was be­hind the wheel of a white Isuzu two-door pick­up around 5am when he re­port­ed­ly lost con­trol of the ve­hi­cle near Hearth­land Plaza. The pick­up veered off the road­way and crashed in­to a tree on the west­ern side of the high­way.

Ram­cha­ran died at the scene.

Of­fi­cers from the Ch­agua­nas Fire Sta­tion, High­way Pa­trol and Cen­tral Di­vi­sion re­spond­ed. The wrecked ve­hi­cle was re­moved and tak­en to the Ch­agua­nas Po­lice Sta­tion.
