The mem­ber­ship of the Prison Of­fi­cers As­so­ci­a­tion (2nd Di­vi­sion) has di­rect­ed their ex­ec­u­tive to re­ject the four per cent of­fer from the Gov­ern­ment through the Chief Per­son­nel Of­fi­cer.

They have been told to go to the Spe­cial Tri­bunal where they be­lieve "jus­tice will be served."

The meet­ing start­ed at 5:30 pm and con­clud­ed short­ly af­ter 8 pm.

The de­ci­sion comes mere days af­ter their com­rades in the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) in­struct­ed their as­so­ci­a­tion to ac­cept the gov­ern­ment's four per cent of­fer for the pe­ri­od 2014 to 2019.
