Mayaro MP Rushton Paray is making a public appeal for assistance in locating three Rio Claro girls - two sisters and a cousin - who went missing on Tuesday.
Kareena Baball, 17, Kashmira Baball, 12, and Akeila Maniram, 13, were last seen at their Navet Village home around 5.30 pm.
Paray called on the community to unite to support the Babal and Maniram families.
"Today, the Babal and Maniram families of Rio Claro are gripped with worry and apprehension as they await news regarding the whereabouts of their daughters, Kareena Babal, Kashmeera Babal, and Akeila Maniram.
As a father of three daughters, he said he shared in the deep concern for the safety and well-being of the young ladies.
"The anguish and uncertainty experienced by their families are unimaginable, and our hearts go out to them during this difficult time."
Paray said he earnestly hoped that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is mobilizing all available resources and employ every possible avenue to locate and ensure the safe return of the girls to the loving embrace of their parents.
"In times like these, our community of Rio Claro must unite in solidarity and vigilance, extending support to the families affected and aiding the authorities in their efforts to bring these young girls home safely."
He urged anyone with information on their whereabouts to contact the TTPS immediately or The Hunters Search & Rescue Team headed by Captain Vallance Rambarat at 1 (868) 799-1453.
