The par­ents of the sev­en St. An­tho­ny's Col­lege boys al­leged­ly re­spon­si­ble for as­sault­ing one of their peers, have been called in to the school to col­lect their sus­pen­sion let­ters. 

Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer of the Catholic Ed­u­ca­tion Board of Man­age­ment, Sharon Man­groo, said they will be sus­pend­ed for sev­en days in the first in­stance.

Mean­while… Min­is­ter of Ed­u­ca­tion, Dr Nyan Gads­by-Dol­ly, told Guardian Me­dia that the de­tailed in­ci­dent re­port, stu­dent files and dis­ci­pli­nary records are ex­pect­ed to­day, and they will be used to ex­am­ine the sit­u­a­tion in its en­tire­ty be­fore the rel­e­vant de­ci­sions are made.

Last Thurs­day, a stu­dent got in­to an al­ter­ca­tion with sev­en oth­ers, and sus­tained in­juries to his face, ribs, back, and chest, as well as suf­fer­ing a bro­ken nose. 

Po­lice have launched a joint in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to the fight.
