An 82-year-old man was tied up and robbed at his home in San Juan on Mon­day.

Po­lice said the in­ci­dent hap­pened around 11:50 am at Bound­ary Road, when a man en­tered the vic­tim’s yard armed with a knife and de­mand­ed mon­ey and jew­ellery.

The sus­pect forced the man in­to his bed­room, tied his hands with a belt and his feet with a bed­sheet, be­fore steal­ing $60 in cash, a Sam­sung cell­phone and the keys to his ve­hi­cle.

He then told the vic­tim, “Doh come out­side, it has ah man with a gun,” be­fore es­cap­ing in the vic­tim’s green Nis­san B13, reg­is­tra­tion PBE 6817, val­ued at $25,000.

Po­lice say in­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing.
