The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development will be handing out keys to 91 people today, for new Starter Home Units under the Housing & Village Improvement Programme (HVIP) of the Ministry’s Land Settlement Agency.
At today’s HVIP Key Distribution Ceremony, the 91 beneficiaries will receive keys to new Starter Home Units located in San Fernando, Morvant, Arima, Diego, Martin, Point Fortin and Valencia.
According to a release from the Housing Ministry, “the HVIP project provides for the construction of Starter Homes, geared towards improving the living conditions of beneficiaries residing in several villages across Trinidad.”
“This project is managed by the Land Settlement Agency of the Ministry, to provide high-quality housing to beneficiaries, and to provide access to modern amenities,” the Ministry explained.
Minister Camille Robinson-Regis MP is expected to deliver the Feature Address at the key distribution ceremony scheduled for 1:30 pm today, at Government Campus Plaza Auditorium Hall on Richmond Street in Port of Spain.
Minister in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Adrian Leonce MP, also will attend the ceremony and deliver remarks.
