A police exercise conducted in the North Eastern Division by officers of the North Central Division Task Force (NCDTF) led to the discovery and seizure of some 104 rounds of ammunition near Angela Trace, Morvant.
According to police, around 2:00 pm yesterday (Monday, May 29), members of the NCDTF obtained information that led them to Angela Terrace, Morvant, where they trekked approximately 20 meters into a bushy area and conducted a search.
During the search, officers found hidden between an old truck tyre, one grey book bag with a green metal ammunition box containing various types of ammunition: 71 9-millimetre rounds, 30 7.62-millimetre rounds, and three rounds of .357 ammunition.
