?An au­top­sy con­duct­ed on the body of five-year-old Manoj Par­boo has re­vealed that he died from kid­ney fail­ure.

His moth­er Maris­sa Per­sad-Par­boo said the au­top­sy was con­duct­ed at the San Fer­nan­do mor­tu­ary and showed that Par­boo had an ab­scess in his kid­ney. She said Par­boo nev­er dis­played any signs of ill­ness. She said her son nev­er had swine flu, as he had test­ed neg­a­tive for the H1N1 virus. Par­boo's fu­ner­al will take place to­day at the fam­i­ly's Pic­ton Street, Di­a­mond Vil­lage, home, be­fore be­ing cre­mat­ed at the Mos­qui­to Creek Shore of Peace.

Per­sad-Par­boo said they want­ed the fu­ner­al to be a pri­vate af­fair. Par­boo, five, a stu­dent of Pic­ton Pres­by­ter­ian School, died around 4 am on Tues­day. Par­boo was hos­pi­talised for two days at San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal, be­fore he took a turn for the worse and died.
