?An autopsy conducted on the body of five-year-old Manoj Parboo has revealed that he died from kidney failure.
His mother Marissa Persad-Parboo said the autopsy was conducted at the San Fernando mortuary and showed that Parboo had an abscess in his kidney. She said Parboo never displayed any signs of illness. She said her son never had swine flu, as he had tested negative for the H1N1 virus. Parboo's funeral will take place today at the family's Picton Street, Diamond Village, home, before being cremated at the Mosquito Creek Shore of Peace.
Persad-Parboo said they wanted the funeral to be a private affair. Parboo, five, a student of Picton Presbyterian School, died around 4 am on Tuesday. Parboo was hospitalised for two days at San Fernando General Hospital, before he took a turn for the worse and died.
