A two-month-old ba­by was found un­re­spon­sive at her par­ent's Diego Mar­tin home on Tues­day morn­ing.

An au­top­sy re­vealed that lit­tle Ja­da Charles died from nat­ur­al caus­es, how­ev­er, a tox­i­col­o­gy re­port has been or­dered.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 5 am, Kevin Charles, 33, and his wife An­nu­ta, 25, to­geth­er put their daugh­ter to bed and went to sleep at their home on Bagatelle Road. Half an hour lat­er Kevin checked on the ba­by and found her un­re­spon­sive.

The cou­ple took Ja­da to the St James In­fir­mary at about 6.05 am and med­ical staff per­formed CPR. How­ev­er, the ba­by was pro­nounced dead at about 6.25 am. An au­top­sy was lat­er done at the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre in St James.
