Thieves made off with approximately $15,000 worth of brand-new tools after breaking into a parked vehicle along Southern Main Road, Enterprise, early Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 3.50 am.
Police said the perpetrators gained access to the victim’s car and stole several high-value items, including three Toque-brand welding machines, two Emtop cordless grinders, three Tolsen corded grinders, a drilling press, a cordless drill kit containing two Total-brand drills, a Makita cordless screw gun, and a Makita chop saw.
All the stolen tools were recently purchased and had not yet been used.
Surveillance footage from the area captured the thieves walking away with the tools.
Police are reviewing the footage as part of their investigation.
