Ban­dits leave mag­a­zine, am­mu­ni­tion be­hind at rob­bery scene

In their haste to es­cape af­ter rob­bing a bar in Princes Town, ban­dits left be­hind a mag­a­zine and a quan­ti­ty of am­mu­ni­tion.

Re­ports say the two sus­pects, one armed with a gun, en­tered Three Palms Bar at Buen In­ten­to Road just be­fore mid­day on Mon­day and held up the bar­tender, a 24-year-old Venezue­lan woman.

They robbed the bar­tender of an $8,000 cell phone, her work per­mit, $1200, $10 Pe­ru­vian cur­ren­cy, US $100, $100 Cana­di­an cur­ren­cy, a gold chain with a heart pen­dant and an undis­closed sum of mon­ey from the cash reg­is­ter.

When po­lice ar­rived at the scene, they found an ex­tend­ed mag­a­zine with five rounds of 9 mm am­mu­ni­tion and a bag with sev­en rounds of 9 mm am­mu­ni­tion.
