Police are investigating a break-in at the west Trinidad residence of Port-of-Spain South Member of Parliament Keith Scotland.
Investigators said the incident was discovered around 3.10 am on Friday, when a window on the second floor of the house was found broken. Several rooms were later found ransacked, and checks revealed that valuables and an undisclosed sum of cash were missing.
Scotland and his family were not at home at the time, having left the residence on December 28, 2025. When contacted by Guardian Media yesterday, Scotland said he was shaken by the incident but grateful that all members of his family were safe and unharmed. - APS
