A 34-year-old Bel­mont man is ward­ed in a sta­ble con­di­tion at the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal af­ter he was shot yes­ter­day.

Po­lice said that some­time af­ter 3 pm they re­ceived a re­port of a shoot­ing at the cor­ner of Duke and Nel­son Streets.

When they ar­rived, they found Le­an­dro Miller with bul­let wounds to both feet.

He was tak­en to the hos­pi­tal, where he re­mains in a sta­ble con­di­tion.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions in­to the shoot­ing are on­go­ing.
