Rel­a­tives of busi­ness­man Homar­dath Sookdeo con­firmed his iden­ti­ty yes­ter­day af­ter his body was found in some bush­es off Tyri­co Bay on Sun­day.

Po­lice re­port­ed that around 10 am, they re­ceived a re­port of a body ly­ing mo­tion­less at Tyri­co Beach with its hands and feet bound with rope and a dog chain.

A blood­ied sponge and brown tape were found near the body as well.

Rel­a­tives vis­it­ed the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre yes­ter­day, where Sookdeo was iden­ti­fied.

Guardian Me­dia con­tact­ed Sookdeo’s rel­a­tives; how­ev­er, they chose not to com­ment.

Po­lice re­port­ed that Sookdeo was last seen on March 8 and re­port­ed miss­ing at the Long­denville Po­lice Post on that same date.
