The body found float­ing in a riv­er at Aranguez yes­ter­day is be­lieved to be that of Jor­dan Dwari­ka.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 1.30 pm the body was found float­ing in the riv­er along John­ny King Road, Aranguez.

The body ap­peared to be in a state of de­com­po­si­tion.

Res­i­dents told po­lice they be­lieve Dwari­ka may have been the sec­ond sus­pect from an as­sault with in­tent to rob on East­er Mon­day.

How­ev­er, po­lice said they were yet to con­firm these claims.

Of­fi­cers from the North East­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force, Emer­gency Re­sponse Unit and the San Juan Po­lice Sta­tion re­port­ed on the scene.

Dwari­ka’s moth­er, who was at the riv­er when the body was found, con­firmed to Ian Al­leyne’s Crime Watch crew that the body was that of her son.
