The body of a man was found in a di­lap­i­dat­ed shack at the Beetham Land­fill on Thurs­day. The de­ceased, po­lice said, is yet to be pos­i­tive­ly iden­ti­fied. Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 3.35 pm peo­ple at the land­fill stum­bled up­on a wood­en shack, in­side of which they found the de­com­pos­ing body of a man. The po­lice were no­ti­fied and of­fi­cers from the In­ter Agency Task Force, the Besson Street po­lice sta­tion, and the Homi­cide Bu­reau re­spond­ed.  A post mortem has been or­dered to con­firm the cause of death up­on iden­ti­fi­ca­tion.
