Police are trying to identify the body of a man that was found on the Lady Young Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said they received a report that a man's body was discovered on a grassy area, about 21 feet from the roadside, behind a metal barricade.
Officers went to the area and found the man's body.
Investigators said the man was about six feet tall, medium built, wearing a pair of black three-quarter pants and a camouflage patterned t-shirt.
Police also noted that the man's hands and feet were tied with plastic tie straps and a white cloth was wrapped around his face.
A District Medical Officer was called in to the scene, who declared the man dead.
Investigators from the Region 1 Homicide Bureau are continuing enquiries.
