The Min­istry of Health will be ad­min­is­ter­ing COVID-19 boost­er shots for all ful­ly vac­ci­nat­ed in­di­vid­u­als.

The an­nounce­ment came from Min­is­ter of Health Ter­rence Deyals­ingh dur­ing Mon­day’s vir­tu­al press con­fer­ence.

The Min­is­ter said fur­ther de­tails will be re­leased to the pub­lic in the com­ing days. Calls for boost­ers have been made from var­i­ous quar­ters over the past few months. How­ev­er, Deyals­ingh said the pro­gramme can now be fa­cil­i­tat­ed now that vac­cine eq­ui­ty is no longer the is­sue it was pri­or.
