Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was found bound and chopped to death inside a grassy track at Penal Quinam Road on Monday.
Investigators said around 2.30 pm, a man was working in his garden situated off an unnamed road about 500 feet from Mahogany Drive, Penal Quinam Road, when he saw the man’s body lying on the ground with his feet, legs and hands tied.
WPC Noriega and PC Constantine visited the scene and found the man about 20 feet off the right side of the unnamed roadway. Police said the murdered man was of African descent, dark complexion, medium build, approximately five feet, eight inches tall, with short black hair and clad in a green T-shirt and blue boxer shorts. Apart from being bound, police said there were chop wounds to the lower legs and lacerations on the body.
