Po­lice are seek­ing the pub­lic’s help in iden­ti­fy­ing a man who was found bound and chopped to death in­side a grassy track at Pe­nal Quinam Road on Mon­day.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said around 2.30 pm, a man was work­ing in his gar­den sit­u­at­ed off an un­named road about 500 feet from Ma­hogany Dri­ve, Pe­nal Quinam Road, when he saw the man’s body ly­ing on the ground with his feet, legs and hands tied.

WPC Nor­ie­ga and PC Con­stan­tine vis­it­ed the scene and found the man about 20 feet off the right side of the un­named road­way. Po­lice said the mur­dered man was of African de­scent, dark com­plex­ion, medi­um build, ap­prox­i­mate­ly five feet, eight inch­es tall, with short black hair and clad in a green T-shirt and blue box­er shorts. Apart from be­ing bound, po­lice said there were chop wounds to the low­er legs and lac­er­a­tions on the body.
