In April of this year, a 13-year-old boy was injured in a collision with a police vehicle while attempting to cross the Priority Bus Route in San Juan.
In that incident, the 13-year-old was struck near the Croisee traffic lights in Aranguez.
He was hit by an unmarked Hyundai Santa Fe which was being driven by a senior superintendent of police, who was later charged with the offence and has since appeared in court.
