A team of searchers is look­ing for a three-year-old boy who went miss­ing in Or­toire ear­ly Fri­day morn­ing as there are fears he fell in­to a riv­er.

The search team con­sists of po­lice of­fi­cers, vil­lagers and fish­er­men who are us­ing a boat to search the coast line and the Or­toire Riv­er.

He has been iden­ti­fied as Al­lon Ram­di­al of Or­toire Fish­ing Port, Or­toire Vil­lage, Ma­yaro.

He was last wear­ing a blue- shirt and blue long pants. He fre­quents the fish­ing jet­ty and is known by fish­er­men .

His moth­er, Chris­tian­na Ram­di­al, 19, said she awoke this morn­ing and re­alised her son was miss­ing.

She im­me­di­ate­ly came out the one-room home they re­side in on the Fish­ing Fa­cil­i­ty at Or­toire and made a search for him be­fore in­form­ing the neigh­bours who launched a search.

A re­port was made to the Ma­yaro Po­lice and a team of of­fi­cers un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Ag Sgt Mo­hammed re­spond­ed and al­so con­duct­ed a search.
