Thir­ty-five-year-old Mar­cus Ro­jas aka ‘Buck’ was ar­rest­ed fol­low­ing the ex­e­cu­tion of a search war­rant in Moru­ga on Au­gust 11th. The fol­low­ing is the press re­lease from TTPS:

The ex­e­cu­tion of five search war­rants in Moru­ga on Wednes­day 11th Au­gust, 2021 re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of MAR­CUS RO­JAS alias “Buck”. Ro­jas, 35 of Moru­ga and St. Mary’s Vil­lage, was ar­rest­ed for be­ing in pos­ses­sion of four rounds of nine-mil­lime­tre am­mu­ni­tion, two rounds of 12-gauge am­mu­ni­tion, and three grammes of co­caine. He was sub­se­quent­ly charged for the of­fences by PC Ramb­ha­jan.

The in­tel­li­gence-led ex­er­cise which was con­duct­ed be­tween the hours of 3 am and 10 am, al­so re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of a 37-year-old Rio Claro man with two out­stand­ing war­rants. It in­clud­ed search­es in sev­er­al open ar­eas which led to the dis­cov­ery of 240 grammes of cannabis. The ex­er­cise was co­or­di­nat­ed by Snr Supt Lu­cia Win­ches­ter and Supt Car­ty.

It was spear­head­ed by ASP Ram­dass, su­per­vised by In­sp Phillip, Sgts Joseph and Charles, and Ag Cpl Phoolchan. It al­so in­clud­ed PCs Clement, Ram­dass, Ramd­hanie, Bais­den, Mitchell, Bis­soon, Ramb­ha­jan, and Fran­cis, as well as WPC Boodram, of­fi­cers of the South­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force (SDTF) and the Ca­nine Unit.
