A 49-year-old busi­ness­man was shot and killed by gun­men at his Va­len­cia work­place on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said Andy Fran­cois was su­per­vis­ing work­ers at his stock­yard, called Zoom to Boom on the Va­len­cia Old Road, at around 1.50 pm when a car drove on­to the com­pound and two gun­men got out. Fran­cois saw the gun­men and ran away but was chased and shot.

Work­ers at the busi­ness place ran away on hear­ing the gun­shots but re­turned short­ly af­ter to see Fran­cois bleed­ing. Va­len­cia po­lice vis­it­ed the scene with a Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer who de­clared Fran­cois dead at the scene. Po­lice from the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions Re­gion II are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
