CAL aircraft lands safely after birdstrike

A Caribbean Air­lines ATR suf­fered a bird strike this morn­ing.

Sources with­in the air­line con­firm, 9Y-TTI, op­er­at­ing as BW1502, was on its way to To­ba­go when the in­ci­dent oc­curred. Ac­cord­ing to avi­a­tion da­ta from fligh­tradar24.com, the air­craft land­ed safe­ly at the ANR In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port at 6:45 am.

The air­craft is now un­der­go­ing re­pairs.

Caribbean Air­lines has not com­ment­ed of­fi­cial­ly on the in­ci­dent.

Bird strikes are fair­ly com­mon in avi­a­tion.
