Lo­cal car­ri­er Caribbean Air­lines is fly­ing high af­ter win­ning the Best Air­line Staff in Cen­tral Amer­i­ca / Caribbean award for 2023 from rat­ings agency Sky­trax. Pana­ma-based air­line, Co­pa Air­lines placed 2nd and French air­line Air Caraibes came in 3rd in the rank­ings. The an­nounce­ment was made at the re­cent­ly held 2023 World Air­line Awards Paris, France.

Ac­cord­ing to Sky­trax, The Best Air­line Staff award recog­nis­es the com­bined air­line staff ser­vice across both the air­port and the on­board ex­pe­ri­ence.

Re­act­ing to the news, Caribbean Air­lines’ Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Man­ag­er. Dionne Ligoure, said, “It’s a heart­en­ing and hum­bling ex­pe­ri­ence to have the ef­forts of the out­stand­ing pro­fes­sion­als I work with, recog­nised by in­de­pen­dent trav­el­ers from around the world. Well done to the Team and a huge thank you to our val­ued cus­tomers and stake­hold­ers who vot­ed for us and who sup­port us every day. It is our priv­i­lege to serve you.”
