Four per­sons were ar­rest­ed and two firearms seized, dur­ing three sep­a­rate an­ti-crime op­er­a­tions con­duct­ed in the Cen­tral Di­vi­sion yes­ter­day.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the Po­lice Ser­vice, Cen­tral Di­vi­sion po­lice car­ried out an Op­er­a­tion Fes­tive Shield ex­er­cise be­tween 8 pm and 10 pm, on Thurs­day 18 De­cem­ber 2025, in the En­ter­prise dis­trict.

The TTPS says this re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of two male sus­pects un­der the Emer­gency Pow­ers Reg­u­la­tions 2025.

The men, ages 26 and 27 years, of En­ter­prise and Long­denville, were held by Task Force of­fi­cers with the as­sis­tance of per­son­nel of the Long­denville Po­lice Post.

The TTPS al­so re­ports that po­lice of­fi­cers ar­rest­ed a 40-year-old male sus­pect at Maraj Lane, dur­ing an ex­er­cise con­duct­ed be­tween 2 am and 5:30 am on Fri­day (De­cem­ber 19, 2025).

The man was ar­rest­ed af­ter po­lice of­fi­cers found a pis­tol loaded with a mag­a­zine con­tain­ing five rounds of am­mu­ni­tion on the kitchen counter of his house.

And in Cunu­pia, around 6:30 am on Thurs­day, of­fi­cers of the Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ment con­duct­ed an in­tel­li­gence-led op­er­a­tion that led to the ar­rest of a 53-year-old man for pos­ses­sion of a quan­ti­ty of cannabis as well as a pis­tol loaded with a mag­a­zine.

The op­er­a­tions were co­or­di­nat­ed by Snr. Supt. Bhag­wan­deen, Supt. Glodon, ASP Her­nan­dez and In­sp. Joseph, all of Cen­tral Di­vi­sion.
