Cunu­pia MP Van­dana Mo­hit says drones with pos­si­ble links to crim­i­nal ac­tiv­i­ty has res­i­dents wor­ried.

Speak­ing at the UNC’s Pave­ment Re­port on Thurs­day, Mo­hit said she has since mes­saged the Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice and called on the Cunu­pia Po­lice to deal with the mys­te­ri­ous drones.

MP Mo­hit said, “Many res­i­dents have been rais­ing this is­sue with me that these drones are cir­cu­lat­ing with­in the com­mu­ni­ties and then you see rob­beries hap­pen­ing with­in the com­mu­ni­ties.”

Mo­hit al­so said the peo­ple of Ch­agua­nas East are call­ing for the re­moval of the Min­is­ter of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty from the pro­posed an­ti-crime talks be­cause “If he was do­ing his job there would not be any need for any crime talks to take place in the first place.”

Mo­hit said she is not sur­prised that the TT po­lice were get­ting blows at re­cent po­lice town meet­ings.

Mo­hit said calls for a po­lice post and oth­er up­grades to se­cu­ri­ty is­sues in the com­mu­ni­ty have fall­en on deaf ears.
