Head of the Police Service Legal Unit Christian Chandler has been arrested along with three others in relation to an alleged incident at sea in August of this year.
A businessman who is also allegedly involved is being sought after by the police.
Guardian Media understands that the DPP met with Acting Commissioner of Police Mc Donald Jacob and other leading investigators to get an update on the completed investigation and to review the findings.
Chandler was under probe following accusations made against him by a woman who was on board his yacht, which resulted in a high-seas stand-off involving the vessel, Coast Guard and police officers. The incident occurred on August 5.
