The Chil­dren's Life Fund Au­thor­i­ty (CLFA) has ap­point­ed Dr Os­afo Fras­er and Dr Ra­bia Hy­dal-Mo­hammed to its Board of Man­age­ment, ef­fec­tive De­cem­ber 24, 2024, for a three-year term.

Dr Fras­er, a for­mer Coun­ty Med­ical Of­fi­cer of Health (CMOH), holds a Mas­ter’s in Pub­lic Health and has over 20 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in the pub­lic and pri­vate health sec­tors. He cur­rent­ly serves as a Spe­cial­ist Med­ical Of­fi­cer at the In­sect Vec­tor Con­trol Di­vi­sion, Min­istry of Health.

Dr Hy­dal-Mo­hammed spe­cialis­es in Pae­di­atric Med­i­cine and holds a Mas­ter’s in Health Ad­min­is­tra­tion. She lec­tures part-time in the Fac­ul­ty of Med­ical Sci­ences at the Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies.

CLFA Chair­man Dr Joanne F. Paul said the ap­point­ments re­flect "a com­mit­ment to build­ing a strong and ded­i­cat­ed team."

Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Ver­nes­sar Cum­mings added, "The team is pleased to have them join... and we are con­fi­dent that their knowl­edge and ex­pe­ri­ence will be in­stru­men­tal."
