The mile­stone was marked with cel­e­bra­tions led by Guardian Me­dia’s Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor Ger­hard Pet­ti­er, Man­ag­ing Ed­i­tor Kay­mar Jor­dan, Deputy Man­ag­ing Ed­i­tor Samp­son Nan­ton, and Lead Ed­i­tor Broad­cast Ria Ram­bal­ly.

Em­ploy­ees from the news­room, op­er­a­tions and all de­part­ments cel­e­brat­ed the 20th an­niver­sary with fond mem­o­ries, laugh­ter, and a look ahead. For­mer em­ploy­ees, in­clud­ing those who an­chored the ma­jor 7 pm news­cast, al­so paid trib­ute to CNC3 for play­ing a crit­i­cal role in their ca­reers and lives. Na­tion­al awardee Ivan Toolsie, who has been a video jour­nal­ist with CNC3 since its in­cep­tion in 2005, al­so ex­pressed his grat­i­tude.

The Prime Min­is­ter, who is in New York at­tend­ing the Unit­ed Na­tions Gen­er­al As­sem­bly, sent her best wish­es:
