The country’s murder count continued to climb following the killing of a Cocorite man on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Johnathan Richard Warrick, 41, of Waterhole in Cocorite.
Police reports said Warrick was standing with other people in an area commonly referred to as “The Swamp” at Ethlyn Trace in Cocorite, around 9.30 pm, when gunmen opened fire on the group.
As the group scattered, Warrick was chased and shot multiple times about the body, before the gunmen fled.
