Police seized three guns and arrested one man during the funeral of murdered Maraval man Arkim Quashie.
Officers of the Western Division said they received information that several mourners were seen attending the funeral at Quashie's home on Nicholas Street, Maraval, on Friday afternoon.
They coordinated an exercise involving Celestine Trace, Faustine Trace and Nicholas Street.
On arrival, officers saw several men running with guns.
They arrested a 22-year-old man carrying a Glock pistol with three rounds of 9 mm ammunition.
Police searched a track and found a Glock 19 pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition hidden beneath a pile of leaves, as well as an assault rifle with 19 rounds of 7.62 ammunition and an extended magazine with six rounds of 9 mm ammunition in a water tank.
Quashie, also known as Sours, was killed moments after arriving at Piarco International Airport from Panama early on the morning of 17 April.
