Sev­er­al spent shells along with a mag­a­zine and live am­mu­ni­tion were re­cov­ered by po­lice of­fi­cers in Llu­en­go Vil­lage, Mara­cas, St Joseph, where a man was fa­tal­ly shot ear­ly on Thurs­day morn­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 6.45 am of­fi­cers of the Mara­cas/St Joseph Po­lice Sta­tion re­spond­ed to a fa­tal shoot­ing at St Pe­dro Road in Llu­en­go Vil­lage.

On ar­rival, act­ing Cpl Phillips and oth­er of­fi­cers saw sev­er­al spent shells on the road and a black mag­a­zine with live am­mu­ni­tion near the body of mur­der vic­tim Shaquille "Chucky" Nor­ie­ga, 28, of No. 12 Castil­lo Trace, Llu­en­go Vil­lage.

The scene was vis­it­ed by ASP Cog­gins, In­sp Beep­at, In­sp Toorie and Sgt Ramjohn.

A mo­tive is yet to be de­ter­mined for this lat­est killing.
