As the search continues for missing two-year-old Angelo Tobias, Tobago police are now also probing the death of a three-month-old baby.
Senior Superintendent Rodhill Kirk told Guardian Media yesterday that the child was found unresponsive at the family’s home in Charlotteville last Saturday.
The parent took the baby to the Roxborough Hospital, where doctors pronounced the child dead.
Kirk said an autopsy was done and asphyxiation was ruled as the cause of death.
He urged the public to avoid speculation and to wait for the police to conduct their investigation. He promised that no stone would be left unturned by police.
