Cus­tomers in parts of South West Trinidad are cur­rent­ly ex­pe­ri­enc­ing a dis­rup­tion in their pipe-borne wa­ter sup­ply be­cause of me­chan­i­cal is­sues at the Clarke Road Wells # 7 & 8, Pe­nal.

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from the Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty, emer­gency re­pairs are cur­rent­ly on­go­ing and are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 8:00 p.m. to­mor­row.

Af­fect­ed ar­eas in­clude Up­per Clarke Road in­clu­sive of Old Clarke Road Trace, Maraj Av­enue, Hy­der Trace, Low­er Clarke Road in­clu­sive of Wil­son Road and Dig­i­ty Trace, Ar­joon Trace and Wil­son Branch Trace.

Cus­tomers are fur­ther ad­vised that fol­low­ing the com­ple­tion of these works, it may take up to sev­en­ty-two hours for the sup­ply to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas.
