The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) has announced it is now ISO 9001:2015 certified. ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s most recognised international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS).

It is a Quality Management System geared towards developing and standardising policies and procedures to ensure that quality service is adequately defined, consistently delivered and meets applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

According to the EMA, "Certification (or “registration”) to ISO 9001:2015 is accomplished through recurring “audits” by an independent ISO registrar, who regularly reviews to ensure that the EMA consistently performs the best management practices, meets the needs of our stakeholders and continuously improves in compliance with this standard.

Achieving this respected certification speaks to our core values of integrity, professionalism, and accountability and our continued efforts to improve."
