An autopsy revealed she had been stabbed multiple times.

Three weeks before, 23-year-old Cupid had ended her relationship with Daniel. She was staying at the home of her mother Natalie Manzano at Easy Street, Fyzabad. Manzano reported to police that Cupid left her home around 10:20 pm on Monday October 12 with Daniel to collect clothes and to purchase food.

Daniel was arrested at his Fyzabad home the day after her body was discovered. Cupid was a CEPEP worker and had two children, ages six and four.

Cupid’s funeral service took place on Tuesday at Guides Funeral Home in San Fernando. Enquiries were conducted by WPC Dyer-Baptiste, WPC Callender and PC Nelson while the investigation was supervised by Inspector (Ag.) Jones, Sgt. Elvin and Sgt. Daniel was represented by attorney Aaron Smith.

He was remanded into custody to reappear on November 20.
