Family left traumatised after shots fired at yard

A 37-year-old woman and her fam­i­ly were left trau­ma­tised af­ter gun­shots were fired in their yard at Richard Lane, Long­denville, on Tues­day night.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, the woman and her rel­a­tives were at home around 7:50 pm on May 6, 2025, when they heard a se­ries of loud ex­plo­sions out­side.

Up­on check­ing, she found the rear wind­shield of her ve­hi­cle shat­tered and rid­dled with bul­let holes.

Res­i­dents lat­er in­formed po­lice that a man dressed in dark cloth­ing was seen flee­ing the scene on a bi­cy­cle short­ly af­ter the shoot­ing.

No in­juries were re­port­ed.
