A shoot­ing in­ci­dent in the Va­len­cia dis­trict on Wednes­day night, in which gun­men in­vad­ed a house on Plan­ta­tion Road, has left a fa­ther dead and his two sons fight­ing for their lives at hos­pi­tal.

Har­ry Ram­nar­ine, 54, of Lewis Lane, was shot and killed.

Ward­ed at San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal and fight­ing for their lives are Saleem Ramd­hanie, 20, and Aleem Ramd­hanie, 18. Both men are nurs­ing gun­shot in­juries to their heads.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands that when po­lice of­fi­cers ar­rived at the scene, they ob­served the de­ceased ly­ing mo­tion­less on his back in front his door­way. The two oth­er vic­tims were ly­ing on the ground nurs­ing gun­shot wounds to the head and show­ing signs of life.

The two in­jured men were rushed to San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal by an EHS am­bu­lance, where they re­main ward­ed in crit­i­cal con­di­tion fight­ing for their lives.

The scene was cor­doned, and the rel­e­vant au­thor­i­ties con­tact­ed.
