Six­ty (60) em­ploy­ees of Flow al­lowed over four hun­dred and twen­ty-five (425) stu­dents to ex­plore the vast and dy­nam­ic world of ICT.

Flow’s Ca­reer Day in ICT, which took place at the Dabadie Gov­ern­ment Pri­ma­ry School on Thurs­day 16 No­vem­ber, was de­signed to pro­vide the young stu­dents with in­sights in­to the di­verse and re­ward­ing paths with­in the ICT sec­tor. 

In a me­dia re­lease, Flow said through­out the morn­ing that the young stu­dents en­gaged with its em­ploy­ees who shared their ex­pe­ri­ences and ex­per­tise and of­fered valu­able ad­vice to help the stu­dents chart their course in the world of ICT.

Flow’s Vice Pres­i­dent and Gen­er­al Man­ag­er, Si­mone Mar­tin-Sul­gan said, “Heart is more than some­thing we have, it’s some­thing we share."

Ronald Rosan, Prin­ci­pal of Dabadie Gov­ern­ment Pri­ma­ry School said of the day’s ac­tiv­i­ties: “Thank you for the op­por­tu­ni­ties that Flow has pro­vid­ed for our stu­dents, with our first ever Ca­reer Day for our school which has been in ex­is­tence for one hun­dred and twen­ty-two years. I know that to­day will be etched in the mem­o­ry of every stu­dent”.

Flow said, "The de­light on the faces of the stu­dents as they ex­plored the vast and dy­nam­ic world of ICT was a plea­sure to be­hold."

Flow said Mis­sion Week is its largest com­pa­ny-wide em­ploy­ee vol­un­teer ini­tia­tive, and this year is its 4th fourth year.

"Each year our em­ploy­ees vol­un­teer across our mar­kets and part­ner with lo­cal char­i­ta­ble foun­da­tions to unite for a full week of ac­tiv­i­ties, guid­ed by our four Cor­po­rate So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­i­ty(CSR) pil­lars of Learn­ing, En­vi­ron­ment, Ac­cess, and Dis­as­ter Re­lief," Flow said.
