Four Princes Town men have ap­peared be­fore a Mas­ter of the High Court joint­ly charged with kid­nap­ping, false im­pris­on­ment, and as­sault oc­ca­sion­ing ac­tu­al bod­i­ly harm against a 23-year-old man from the dis­trict.

Ravi Shaz­ard, 22; Vikash Shar­ma, 38; Vinay Shar­ma, 40; and Shaz­ard Ag­gan, 30, were charged with the of­fences when they ap­peared be­fore Mas­ter Gray in the South Mas­ter Court on Tues­day.

The ac­cused were not called up­on to plead.

Ravi Shaz­ard and Shaz­ard Ag­gan were each grant­ed bail with sure­ty in the sum of $100,000 to cov­er all the charges.

They were or­dered to re­port to the Princes Town Po­lice Sta­tion two days a week be­tween 6 am and 6 pm, to have no con­tact with the vir­tu­al com­plainant, to stay 500 me­tres away from the vir­tu­al com­plainant, and to re­side at a Princes Town ad­dress.

Vikash Shar­ma and Vinay Shar­ma were de­nied bail.

The mat­ter was ad­journed to Wednes­day 26th No­vem­ber, 2025.

The charges arose out of a re­port made on Sat­ur­day 17th May, 2025 in the Princes Town dis­trict.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions were su­per­vised by In­sp Wilkin­son, Sgt (Ag) Teeluck, and Cpl Ramkissoon of the Princes Town Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ment.
