Two young men narrowly escaped death when gunmen fired at them on Monday night.
Police said the men, aged 22 and 26, were sitting in a brown Nissan Almera on Noriega Trace, Malabar Road, at around 10.15 pm when they noticed a white Nissan X-Trail with heavily tinted windows driving nearby.
Someone in the X-Trail fired at the men but missed, damaging the windscreen and left-side window before speeding off.
The duo drove to the Malabar Police Station to make a report. The 26-year-old sustained minor cuts from broken glass, but neither was seriously injured, police said.
Officers from the Arima Crime Scene Unit visited the scene and recovered 29 spent shells.
