The funeral service for the late Denyse Plummer-Boocock will be held at Queen's Hall on Wednesday 6 September 2023.
In a statement, the family of the late calypso queen announced that the service will start at 10 am; but there will be a prelude from 9 am.
The family said a limited number of invitations will be available at the Queen's Hall Box Office, from 12:30 pm on Monday (September 4).
These invites will be given on a first come first served basis, and will be one per person, the family explained.
Condolence books will be opened to the public between 10 am and 2 pm on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 September 2023.
The family notes that on the day of the service, guests can park at the Paddock at the Queen’s Park Savannah and take a shuttle to Queen’s Hall.
The funeral service itself will be broadcast live on TTT.
Meanwhile, a tribute service was held today for another national icon, the late Michael Anthony, was held at the St. Peter & St. Paul RC Church in Mayaro.
The renowned author and historian died on August 24, 2023.
