A 6-year-old girl died after she was shot in the chest while at a relatives home in Sangre Grande on Sunday morning.
Three other relatives were shot and wounded including the girl’s close male relative who police believes was the target of the gunmen.
At about 2 am gunmen dressed in camouflage ambushed the family inside their home at Blake Avenue.
Four of them was shot including six-year-old Kylie Maloney.
Three of the wounded victims were taken to hospital where they are being treated.
